Plants

4 questions

Most of our aloes are 1 to 8 years old depending on size. Starter pups are 4–6 months, mature plants are 6+ years. Each listing notes the exact age range.

Yes — we hand-grow every plant on our farm in Lagos using compost, neem, and rainwater. No synthetic pesticides, ever.

Already potted in a terracotta or plastic nursery pot, soil moist, leaves trimmed of any blemishes, and wrapped in shock-absorbing kraft sleeves. Just unwrap and place.

For one-of-a-kind specialty pieces (Polyphylla, Nobilis), yes — message us with the listing and we will send the exact plant photographed. For common cultivars, plants are pulled fresh.

Orders & payment

3 questions

Yes — within 2 hours of placing it, just reply to your confirmation email. After that, plants are already being prepped and we cannot stop dispatch.

Every plant arrives wrapped in kraft and twine. For ₦1,500 extra at checkout, we add a hand-written card and signature foliage tag.

Care & guarantee

3 questions

If your plant does not thrive within 30 days of arrival, send a photo and a short note — we will replace it free, or refund. We have only had to do this 11 times last year.

Soak the soil thoroughly, then let it dry out completely between waterings — usually every 10–14 days indoors, less in cooler months. Yellow leaves usually mean overwatering.

Take a photo within 48 hours and email it to info@aloewrld.com — we send a replacement leaf or partial refund. Aloes are tougher than they look but transit is bumpy.
